RV Chess in ChatGPT and Claude

Paste a game link in a chat, get the RV Chess board and Stockfish review there, and ask about any move.

Updated

What it does

  • Review a game: paste a Chess.com or Lichess link, or a PGN, and ask for a review. The same board and Stockfish 18 review as this site open in the chat.
  • Ask about a move: click a move on the board, then ask why it was a mistake, what each side's plan is, or why one move is better than another. The answers use fresh engine lines from that exact position.
  • Try a what-if: ask what changes if a piece stood on another square.
  • Find your games: give your Chess.com or Lichess username and pick one of your last five games.
  • Openings and bots: ask for a named opening, or open Drawfish and the other play modes.

Good to know

The board and Stockfish run inside the chat window, the same way they run in your browser here. The plugin has no account, no payments and no limit. The review results are sent to the chat so the assistant can explain them. Games up to 160 half-moves are supported. See the privacy and support pages, or review a game on the site without a chat at all.
