Review Chess terms of use

Updated 16 October 2026. These terms describe use of the Review Chess plugins for ChatGPT and Claude published by RVChess.

What the plugin provides

Review Chess provides an interactive RV Chess board, game imports, browser Stockfish analysis, move verification, opening lessons and existing RV Chess play modes. The conversation host supplies conversational explanations using returned evidence. The plugin has no payments or purchases.

Inputs and permitted use

Submit only game links, games and other material you are entitled to use and share with the services involved. Do not submit passwords or authentication credentials. Use the plugin for chess study, review and supported play modes. It does not control third-party chess accounts or submit moves to Chess.com or Lichess.

Analysis limits

Engine results depend on the exact position, history, search depth and available browser resources. Whole-game scan grades are provisional until checked. A hypothetical piece placement is an edited setup rather than a legal played move. Chat reviews support up to 160 half-moves. Imports depend on third-party availability; PGN is an alternative when a supported public link cannot be imported.

Conversation hosts and third-party services

Your use of ChatGPT or Claude is separately governed by the respective host’s applicable terms and account controls. Relevant third-party terms apply when you use their services. The plugin privacy policy describes how input and analysis reach the conversation.
